Well, seems the weekend is here. Instead of *just* drinking bourbon, I decided to actually read a book for once. While drinking bourbon 🙂🥃✨ Fantastic New Year’s lunch/dinner prepared by my wife (feat. Donohoe’s Batch & Takara Gold) 🍱 Post lunch gaming with my son 💻 Evening dram with some Booker’s 🥃 Night cap with the remaining sample I have of George T. Stagg 2022 release 💥 Going out with a 2023 ShenkBerger 🥃💥🥃 Templeton 10yr Rye, I dig it! Lots of horse juice was had in 2023… 🏇. And trust, there’s a story and shared memories behind each and every one of these. I felt strangely, and perhaps uncomfortably, bothered that the Shenk’s 2023 release I procured most recently was without its higher proof sibling, Bomberger’s.
